This is a send-in installation service for the the Nintendo 64 Retro GEM HDMI Kit.

Retro GEM is not provided in this listing. N64Digital kit can be purchased from -> PixelFx.co

HOW DOES THIS WORK?:

We will then provide you with our shipping information to send your console and mod kit to us here at Retro Digital LLC for the services to be performed.

Once received your system will be tested and thoroughly cleaned removing any dust or debris that may have collected over the years.

We will then install the requested modifications and extensively test everything to ensure proper functionality.

Turnaround time can vary depending on current workload and will be posted on the homepage.

ADDITIONAL SERVCIES OFFERED:

Capacitor Replacement: Over time electrolytic capacitors can start to loose their capacitance, and in some cases may even leak on to its PCB causing permanent corrosive damage. Replacing the electrolytic capacitors in an older game system is a great way to keep it in service for many more years to come! High quality capacitor kit is included with this service!

Region Free Cartridge Tray: Nintendo region locked the N64 using a slightly different notched cartridge tray for USA and Japanese systems preventing the cartridge from entering the slot. This of course prevents you from playing a game from Japan on a USA system or vise versa. This is a special designed N64 cartridge tray that does not have the region lock tabs allowing you to enjoy both USA and JAP games on the same system! This will be printed in your choice of color and installed at no additional charge!

Ultra-Sonic Cleaning & Polish: With this service your console will first be disassembled and ultrasonic cleaned. This removes all of the hidden dirt and dust that a hand cleaning just can't get to. Even a warm soapy bath is nothing compared to the cavitation produced by the thermistors of a medical grade ultrasonic cleaner! After the ultrasonic cleaning the housing will be polished off with an aerospace UV protectant. This restores the plastic's UV protection preventing fading, cracking and discoloration from harmful UV rays while at the same time repelling dirt, dust and stains keeping your system looking better, longer!

No-Cut Back Panel: This 3D printed insert will allow the N64Digital to be installed in your system without needing to cut in to the housing! All basic colors available.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Initial shipping is your responsibility. Please ship your system with ample packing materials. Additional insurance is also highly recommended. Shipping paid at checkout is how your system will be shipped back to you after the work has been completed.

All systems are cleaned, thoroughly inspected and stress tested prior to shipping to make sure you are getting the best service possible!

If a system arrives not working as intended (unless otherwise stated) for whatever reason, you will be contacted and notified. Most things can be fixed and arrangements can be made, but in the case of a system that is sent in inoperable condition the system will be returned and you will be refunded minus return shipping costs.
