This is a send-in installation service for the GameCube Picoboot created by WebHDX!

Installation Service Includes -
Installation of Picoboot

Console tested with SWISS to ensure proper functionality
Console Cleaning
Exterior wipedown
Internal cleaning, including removing any loose dust/dirt
This does not include removal of tough stains or caked on substances (ultrasonic cleaning is available for deep cleaning).
Additional Services Offered-
Electrolytic Capacitor Replacement
Over time, electrolytic capacitors lose their ability to perform as intended. This can have varying effects on performance (none good). The electrolyte, paper and aluminum foil in the capacitor degrade physically and chemically over time. Aging capacitors can cause a wide range of issues and in extreme cases can leak electrolytic fluid onto the PCB (again, not good).
Optical Drive Recap
This option replaces the capacitors on the Nintendo GameCube optical drive. Is your GameCube having trouble reading discs? This may be for you! 90% of the time, disc read errors on GameCube consoles can be resolved by replacing the capacitors on the optical drive board.
Motherboard Recap
This option replaces the capacitors on the Nintendo GameCube motherboard.
Motherboard / DVD Drive Recap
This option replaces the capacitors on motherboard and DVD drive.
Power LED Replacement
This service replaces the original N64 power LED with 1:1 replacement in your choice of color.

Ultrasonic Cleaning
With this service, your console will be disassembled and ultrasonic cleaned. Ultrasonic cleaning removes even the most stubborn dust and dirt that a hand cleaning just cant reach.

Additional Information -
Once your order is received, you will be sent shipping information to send your console in for the work to be completed.
Initial shipping is the customers responsibility. Please ship your console and kit with ample packing material. Shipping paid at checkout is how your console will be shipped back to you after the work has been completed.
Please only send the console and kit to be installed. Power cables, controllers, AV cables or any other accessories that are not needed will only raise the shipping costs both ways.
If a console arrives not working, you will be contacted and notified. Most things can be fixed and arrangements can be made, but in the case of a console that is inoperable, the console will be returned, and you will be refunded minus return shipping costs.
Turnaround time is usually within 2-3 weeks, but can be longer depending on current workload or if parts need to be ordered.

Awesome
Couldn't ask for anything better than what I received. The package they sent back was packed so well that I grew annoyed having to cut through tons of bubble wrap lol. They definitely care about their customers.

I have a GameCube DOL-001 without the serial port 2. Is this a problem for the picobot installation ? Thanks.

A:
PicoBoot can be installed in both DOL-001 and DOL-101. This includes the DOL-001 variants without SP2 port. If a system does not have an SP2 port you can use a memory card to SD adapter (also known as an SDGecko) to load the ipl.dol boot file.

I was looking at the picoboot install service. If I add the sd2sp2 and include the sd card. Will everything be set up when I receive the console back? Not sure how this exactly works. All I have used is the GCLoader. Thanks
