The XenoGC is a drivechip for the Nintendo Gamecube. It is installed directly to the optical drive's logic board and injects patch code into the drive at run time. This enables the execution of debug commands and reading of DVD+/-R/RW media. The original project name of the modchip was Qoob Lite (subsequently discovered in the source code).

Blue Retro is a high speed Bluetooth controller interface that opens retro consoles up to the plethora of modern controllers with latencies that even some wired adapters can't manage.

Detects if a controller is physically connected to a controller port and disables BlueRetro for that port.

Reset the console with the controller and you can change the state of the ESP with the reset button, eg. Pairing mode or resetting the ESP config.

Over time, electrolytic capacitors lose their ability to perform as intended. This can have varying effects on performance (none good). The electrolyte, paper and aluminum foil in the capacitor degrade physically and chemically over time. Aging capacitors can cause a wide range of issues and in extreme cases can leak electrolytic fluid onto the PCB (again, not good). This console has been completely recapped with high quality, long life capacitors.

Thermal pads are an intermediary that improves heat transfer between two surfaces (in this case, the heatsync and chip). Thermal pads can break down over time due to aging and heat cycling, which can reduce their ability to transfer heat effectivly. The thermal pads on this console have been upgraded with new high conductivity 12W/mk (compared to ~6W/mk for OEM) thermal pads.
