New GameGear v3.1 TFT LCD Screen: The Sega GameGear LCD screen was a marvel when it was released in 1990. 30 years later they all are slowly heading the way of the dinosaurs. This system has had the old GameGear LCD replaced with a NEW LCD Screen!
Re-Capped (Full Capacitor Replacement): Electrolytic Capacitors are energy storage devices which have the ability to store an electrical charge across its plates. Thus capacitors store energy as a result of their ability to store charge and an ideal capacitor would not loose its stored energy. Unfortunately, over time electrolytic capacitors can loose their ability to hold power which leads to audio/video issues and eventually a dead system. This system has had a complete capacitor replacement.
New GameGear Housing: A new gold standard in Game Gear shells has emerged! Produced with the help and design of RetroSix in the UK this is a full housing replacement for the SEGA Game Gear. This shell is produced using ABS (from Japan), and molded in China using our well established factory who have been in the gaming industry for as long as the console itself!
