TerraOnion MODE: The TerraOnion M.O.D.E. is an ODE designed to replace the optical drive in the Sega Saturn system. This allows you to load content from both HDD and SD simultaneously! With auto region patching, auto detect, multiple user interfaces and zero seek times this is the ultimate in ODE tech!
Re-Capped (Full Capacitor Replacement): Electrolytic Capacitors are energy storage devices which have the ability to store an electrical charge across its plates. Thus capacitors store energy as a result of their ability to store charge and an ideal capacitor would not loose its stored energy. Unfortunately, over time electrolytic capacitors can loose their ability to hold power which leads to audio/video issues and eventually a dead system. This system has had a complete capacitor replacement.
MODE 3D Printed Mount: This special designed mounting bracket secures the MODE ODE board to the Sega Saturn system via screws keeping your MODE ODE board nice and safe, while at the same time raising the SD slot for easy accessibility!
FRAM Memory Mod (Battery Free Saves!): The Sega Saturn uses a CR2032 battery to power it’s real-time clock (RTC) and to power the memory chip that contains your game saves. When this battery dies, you lose both the clock settings and all of your game save files! This system has had the old memory chip replaced with a modern (non-volatile) FRAM chip! This memory chip is not dependent on the CR2032 battery so if - or when - your battery dies your save files will not go with it!
NEW Removable Battery: This system will also come with a brand new CR2032 battery installed and ready to use!

All systems are cleaned, thoroughly inspected and stress tested to make sure you are getting the best product!

While we deep clean every system please keep in mind these are now 20+ years old. This being said there may be some signs of use like light scuffing/blemishes etc. All systems will otherwise be in good overall condition and ready for another 20+ years of service!

If adding a region switch, only use the switch with the system powered off. Do not flip the Region Switch while the system is on.
